Diaconate of Br Afia Enosa

On Saturday 22 November the parish will come together at St John’s for the Ordination into the Diaconate of Br Afia Enosa, one of the Salesians of Don Bosco Seminarians at Clifton Hill.

Please join this special occasion if you can to

witness Br Afia be ordained as Deacon, and to pray

for him as he commits to liturgical and pastoral

services as a minister of the Church.

Memorial Mass

During November, the month that the Catholic

Church dedicates to All Souls, our Parish will hold a

Memorial Mass in memory of the recently deceased.

Everyone is welcome to join this mass to honour

and pray for all the deceased. This will be held at 
St John the Baptist Church Clifton Hill, 
this Friday 28 November at 7:30pm.

Food Outreach

Please join Wayne Matautia and his family as they

once again provide warm home cooked meals to

those in need. The next Food Outreach is Saturday

29 November from 3pm, at St Joseph’s Collingwood.

Our Parish is grateful to you Matautia family, for

your Food Outreach again this year as you continue to

live the gospel of love and justice.

Reconciliation

Our Advent Reconciliation and Reflection will be

held at St John’s on Friday 5 December at 7pm.

Please share in this close encounter with the Lord

during this season of Advent, as we prepare and wait

for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
